I have to admit I almost did forget about it. I wasnt thinking of the date until Jeff mentioned it to me. I am terrible with dates sometimes.

We've moved on in many ways. Every time I see these images, or look at the video, it brings it all crashing back.

This is the first year that I almost forgot. I can't believe it because it wasn't that long ago that I was upset that so many people seemed not to remembering it and mourning it. We are moving on but we must never forget. This is our generations' Pearl Harbor.

We have to continue to live our lives, it's what we HAVE to do. But you are right, we must always try to remember to take a moment and think of all of those people, and never forget who did this to us.

I remembered in time to make a last minute video (as I did last year).

Did you take the 2nd picture, gm? It's very nice.

No one around here really talked about 9/11, except when I brought it up.

I loved your 9/11 post, WS. I was glad to hear that one of the priests went to each classroom at the girls' school to talk about 9/11 with the kids. He told them about his brother, who narrowly escaped death at the WTC that day and then they said a prayer for the victims, survivors and America in general.

I sure hope you watched the Presidential Debate last night. Obama was supposed to get McCain agitated. Someone should have told him. The Dems must have told McCain by mistake instead of Obama.
President ..'oops',.. Senator McCain looked like a grownup talking to a kid, Obama.
The last count from the text message polls on Fox showed McCain winning, 84% to 14% for Obama.
Let's see what happens now, if Obama still wants another debate. (He would be better off debating Palin. He'd lose by a smaller margin!

I didn't see the debate, JC. Troll, my husband, did. I've read several articles on it, and it sounds like Obama didn't do so well. Although Troll's impression was that he did better than the articles are saying. I may check it out, but I'm so tired of listening to Obama's twaddle and his flip-flopping that I'm just not sure I have the energy for it. lol. I saw a couple of reports that agree with you in noting that Obama seemed to get rattled several times. I think Palin would be less of a gentleman than McCain was!! Troll thought McCain got hung up a couple of times. Can hardly wait to see the vice presidential debate.
