Vicente Fox is ignorant, too.

Well - ya just gotta read it:

Ignorant Vicente Fox

He says that illegal Mexicans are 'doing jobs that not even blacks want to do there in the United States.'

He also says that the law that waives environmental rules to build a fence on the border between California and Mexico is 'overly extreme.'

I'll say it again, 'Vicente Fox kiss my white American ass!'

***UPDATE***

My husband just heard on the radio that Vicente Fox has apologized for what he's said. Harumph! He'd better.

I wonder what Jesse Jacskson and Al Sharpton have to say about Fox's comment?

We're going to have to DO SOMETHING about the problem on our border. Hilton Head is flooded with hispanics, most of which do not speak English, hang out in their little world and cut the grass and blow the leaves around.

They work very hard and dont' cause trouble, but one of these days there will be more of them then there are of us. At that point the Democrats will grant them universal amnesty and the right to vote....

If that happens you and me can kiss our white asses good bye.

Mike all I've heard from them is the crickets chirping. Of course.

Legal immigration is one thing - illegal immigration is quite another.

Seems it took Jesse and Al a day or two to get the swing of the story. See my latest on the subject, inspired by your post. But what I only alluded to is what happens when a two bit race-baiting shakedown pimp meets up with a world class corrupt immigration pimper like Vicente. Should be interesting.

I am Mexican native and I came to the USA when I 12 yrs old,and yes, I came ilegally. Let's not be hypocritical, I agree with Presidet Fox's comment .No other people are willing to wash dishes in the back of the restaurants throughtout USA, no one wants to do house cleaning(even the rich and famous hire Latinos to clean their houses). Now I been given the opportunity to be legal in this country and even become naturalized and I am really grateful for that. However, I did pay my dues though, for I worked hard and tried to excel in this country. I went to college and now I am a succesful business woman. Just like my story, there are many other similar ones of people that came with nothing and now are successful because this country does give the opportunity to better yourself if you work hard.

On the other hand, I critize the Mexican government (not just the current representatives but all the previous ones that have done absolutely NOTHING to help its people. Why is it that only the people from Mexico want to come here, why aren't the Canadians flooding the borders to come here as well?

In all fairness, I have to agree that something has to be done to protect the borders especially to protect the USA from terrorists that might be entering and also to prevent the entrance of the thousands of ilegal immigrants(I hate the word aliens!) that are willing to leave their loved ones to seek a better future.

Well thank you for responding Latina.

I have to disagree that Americans won't wash dishes in a restaurant or clean houses. I have washed dishes in a restaurant and so has my husband and so have my brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, I have cleaned houses - my neighbor - an American - cleans houses for a living and does quite well. We do all sorts of shit jobs and we're white for goodness sakes. Why Vicente Fox even had to bring race into it I don't know. It just shows his ignorance.

I appreciate that you have made the American dream happen for you - as most of us have done.

I see that you immediately distinguish between legal immigrants and illegal immigrants - which is something many on the left and right forget to do. I see that you understand that Vicente Fox is not helping his own people, which he could by creating a safe, free, prosperous country. I see that you understand that in this day and age we must be vigilant at our borders - north, south, east and west.

God bless you, hon. You are a smart cookie and I'm sure we are the better for having you here contributing to our greatness - which also has benefits for you.

Thanks again for posting.

Vicente Fox really pisses me off - and so does Bush on this subject for that matter.

You should be deported. The ability for you to become a legal citizen should be denied. and if any public funds were used for your education you should have to pay them back double.

You are a festering pustule on the hide of America and I mean that to include Mexico also.

Just like evidence discovered by the police achieved without mirandizing the suspect gets thrown out of court becouse it's fruit from the poisoned tree so is everything you have gained.

Just becouse you have become legitimate does not make you a good example in fact it is just the opposit.

Ilegalls will look at you and see justification for them to be here ilegally the cancer that you are is destroying the good will for all those like my ancestors that jumped through all the hoops to do it legall.

I am sorry but as good a citizen as you may feel and seem. You are not.

It's not Latina who is causing this - it's the Bush administration and their faulty policy toward Mexican immigration and ignorant Mexican president Vicente Fox. It's Vicente Fox's policy toward his own people that encourages them to flee his rotten, stinking country. That's what's encouraging all the illegals coming here hoping for the golden 'amnesty'.

Grrrrrrooowwwwlllll.

Millions of people have come to this wonderful country to find a better life for themselves and their families, Latina is excellent example.

Vicente Fox is another big mouth politician, likes to hear his own voice, then retreat to his personal palatial estate. He like many others are hypocrites.

By the way, Troll learn Chinese, it will come handy very soon.

Response to Troll:

To start with, it was not my choice to come here ilegally, as I mentioned in my previous posting, I was 12 years old! At first, it was very difficult for me to adapt to living here. My life was set in Mexico, I had my friends, all my family and I was taken away from my happy environment, because yes, I was happy over there. I really missed my school, my teachers, my friends, my neighborhood. Then on top of that I had to put up with the bigotry in the school I was enrolled in from the some studenst and also from some teachers. At first, I hated being here but as I grew older, I understood why my parents brought me here and now I love this country and there is nothing to back to Mexico to, my life has been established here.

My parents never asked for welfare assistance and when finished high school, I took a medical assistant course which I paid cash while I worked as a waitress($500+ per month). I saved up my money and later on I opened my own business and I am still working hard, paying my taxes, paying for all the required licenses, permits and everything needed to be able to live withing the laws here.

Also, I never asked any type of government assistance, I have never even collected unemployement, thank God. And I know of alot of Latino people that do not collect any type of welfare assistance because they fear that later on it will hurt their stay here. I believe there are good and bad people in all races, and it really shames me when I hear someone from my race has done something bad in the States because I feel like it reflects on me as well(may be I shouldn't feel that way but I do)

I did not come into this forum to be insulted, I have been respectful and civilized in my posting and I expect the same, even if we disagree on opinions.

I hope you can express yourself and opinions in a civilized manner. And remember, your original ancestors that came to this country were once also foreigners in this country.

I thank you for your courtesy.

I am not insulting you and as others may think I am not a bigot. Your parents were wrong to bring you here ilegaly. I am sure it was traumatic for you as a child and you have reaped the benefits of our society and have given back to it.

But guess what it is still fruit from the poisoned tree. You could have achieved all those wonderful thing had your parents bothered to come here legaly.

I am not against you because you are an immigrant or as you say a foreigner. That is the bullshit that the left usses to derail the subject its a red herring. This country was built by immigrants and still is today.

LEGAL IMMIGRANTS illegal immigrants are a cancer on this country I don't care if they are from mexico, canada, ireland, or china. Do it legally or you should be thrown out.

You are an exception to the rule. 80% of the felony warants outstanding in california are for crimes committed by illegal aliens. The federal Government just had to pass a bill to bail out the hospitals in the five border states because they were shutting down becauser illegal immigrants when they get sick and hurt go to the emergancy room and dont pay. The IRS (may they burn in Hell) the irs that is, has 9 million false w2's from illegals. This problem is destroying us economicly.

We have always had a mexican workforce in the southern states and we always will. The question is how do we controll it.

Not to mention we are at war people that are trying to kill all of us are using the illegal migrant routes up from Mexico not to mention the drug dealers.

So get off your high horse. Illegal immigration is a major problem and all illegals should be deported.

Like they say don't take it personnel just take it.

Troll,

I know my parents were wrong to bring me to the States ilegally but what could I do? There was absolutely nothing I can do about it.

I been pondering about the problem with the Mexican borders, the ilegal immigrants, the people that die trying to come here, the wifes, the children, the parents that are left behind. I am also aware that the presence of ilegal immigrants is a big problem for the USA. My biggest question is and has been for a while is this:

Why isn't the Mexican and American govenment doing anything about it? WHY AREN'T THEY CLOSING THE BORDER?

This is a problem that has been going on for decades!

You tell me Troll, why hasn't the borders been secured? Especially now with the terrorist threats, I think that would be an excelent reason/excuse to completely close all the borders.

The reason that the border is left wide open is both complicated and simple.

The simple side is the Democrats will not let us secure our borders. Any attempt to do so and you are labeled a biggot and a vigilante. Our President is complicit in this also. I say that with the uttmost regret.

thats where it gets complicated. You know as well as I do the united States has always had a migrant class of Mexican workers. The southern border of the US has never been a real border. Much of the boundry has been blured between the US & Mexico since before the nation was formed. Bush is of that mindset. The acceptance of a transitory group of people between the two countries has always been the status quo. The workers were and are needed. the money and the jobs are needed. It for the most part of our nations history has been an acceptable trade.

two things have changed #1 the conditions in Mexico over the past fifteen years has deteriorated to the point that not just people seeking work cross the borders but people escaping extream poverty for good has increased a thousand fold. Mexico has become hell to try and raise and feed a family in.

#2 9/11 took place. Up untill the attacks the only threat percieved coming from Mexico was the drug trafic. the ilegals were never percieved as a threat. The economic burdon has been steadily increasing to the point that some change was going to have to be dealt with, and probably would have been this adminastrations number one item if the war had not broke out.

Now we have a multifold problem how do we close the border allow the migratory work force to still flow back and forth, and deal with the ilegals that have taken up permanant residance. The latter is the one part of the problem that makes the other parts even more dificult to do.
How do you restrain and force the ligitamate migratory workers to secumb to a system that has to be installed that one allows them to come and work and two records and KEEPS TRACK OF them. How do you implement that system while allowing 9million others that are already here to remain.

Yet it must be done the ridiculis flow of people back and forth unmonitored is going to cause the death of thousands of Americans when a terrorist using a drug runner or an ilegal runner comes accros with a nuke or a biological weapon. They probably already have done this. They know for a fact that some of the existing cells that they are monitoring have crossed into the US from our southern Border. This is our dilema.

The politicians on our side of the river are scared of being labeled hatefull bigots and The politicians on the other side are just fuking ignorant Fox should be horse whipped.

That is why this problem still exists and it probably wont be solved untill a terrorist act takes place in this country that forces the politicians to listen to the people and impliment a system. The good part is that people are demanding it. And the people that are trying to do it themselves have been of good stock. No lynchings or shootings but how long will that last?????

Very good explanation of the existing problem/dilema, I just wanted to add that I feel that the USA government has not been very proactive to try to take care of it. It is very careless from the USA part to leave the borders unsecured with all the consequences it incurs and can incur. In my opinion, it would be best to implement a system where migrants can come and work may be for a period of time and then go back home. May be the companies that need these workers can put up an order with the immigration dept.for so many employees for a specified period of time. You are right, it is a tough one.

I wouldn't call it careless I would call it criminal people are going to die in the name of being PC

Some program that would still benefit the migrant and by migrant I mean regular MEXICAN ilegal that wants to come here and work can be accomadated while promoting legal imigration and not allowing this insanity of just being over run
