Gathering of Eagles - Washington, DC

Jennifer Gallagher reports her experience at the Gathering of Eagles, GOE III, in Washington DC this weekend. She was there to counter protest the asinine anti-war, pro-communist, stupid-ass leftists and their incredibly ill conceived 'die in'. She has pics showing the huge difference between the opposing groups. On our side you see nothing but beautiful red, white and blue, people who love our country and support the young men and women doing their job in the field - killing terrorists and protecting the innocent. We support them and we love our freedoms and our country. Jennifer had an interesting confrontation with some stupid-ass kids holding a hammer and sickle flag aloft. Not surprising that they have no concept of how deadly communism really was (and still is), with the state of public education these days.

Another Pennsylvania blogger, Skye, who was also there, has some really great pics up, too.!

Thank you Jennifer and Skye!

Michelle Malkin was there and has an interesting 'compare and contrast' photo montage up. Can you guess who the anti-America protesters are??

Human Events has a great article up about the protest and the counter protest. I found this article via LGF. This guy, Jack Langer, gives us a perspective of the event that you probably won't see in the 'MSM'. He cracked me up with some of his observations, and I hope that you go and read the whole thing, too.

God Bless America!

I was there. There were thousands of us. It looked like about twenty of you showed up. Face it - you're in the minority.

That is the typical response of the losers that showed up carrying signs Monica. When you push back on them the crumble like a stale oatmeal cookie. All we have to do is keep the pressure on them, they have no strength because they have no belief system. They are in fact, losers and they show up at these types of events carrying signs because they have nothing else. It's a shame and its very pitiful. The proof is they are ashamed of themselves and won't identify themselves. Take off the mask if you believe in what you say.

I'd just as soon be done with them and finish this war that ends in victory.

Sounds interesting. Wow. I have never been to a rally and more than likely wont either but those of you who go give me reason to live like I have been to one. LOL.. Hope it went well.

Appreciated your post Monica. The mere fact of differing opinions is a good sign for our land.
Nastiness has no place in any discussion, but an open talk can bring points to the table that, perhaps, have not been seen by the other side.
It might even serve to enter into the hallowed halls of our left leaning universities. One can only hope.
P.S. I'm a grad of such an institution, but became a free thinker in their philosophy courses. That'll teach 'em.

JG - yes, 'Robert' needs to face something and it is this: Thousands of stupid college kids who don't even know what in the hell they are talking about doesn't impress me.

Thanks Donald. You're on my blogroll as of now. I forgot to do it earlier, sorry!

Tweetey - I love to go to a rally. Someday maybe you can go, I think you would like it.

Catmoves - I'm so glad that you came out thinking for yourself still. It took me a few years after high school to see what was really up out there in the real world.

I hope that you enjoy them, dirtcrashr! Thank YOU for coming by and commenting.
