Grizzly Mama has been tagged.

Courtesy my expat. friend in the UK, Alicenot. Yes, Alicenot, ya got me. I deserve it for having tagged you last year. Don't get mad, get even - that's my motto, too!

Okay, let's see, these are the rules:

1. Go write 6 weird facts/things/etc. about yourself on your blog, then tag six more people!

2. Then leave a comment that says 'You are tagged' in their comments telling them to read your blog.

(1.) I have a tattoo.
(2.) I hitch-hiked quite a bit when I was ages 14-16. I am lucky to be alive!
(3.) It takes my feet over an hour to get warm (when left to their own devices) after I crawl into bed.
(4.) I am looking for a used Gemeinhardt flute. After 27 years I got a sudden urge to play the flute again. I'm still wondering what has happened to me. That's the brand of flute and piccolo that I played starting in 4th grade, so I want a Gemeinhardt.
(5.) I've noticed that 'the Universe' provides us with the things we need out of the blue in very strange ways ALL OF THE TIME! It happens enough that I will tell the girls, 'Look! '"The Universe" has provided such and such and we were JUST thinking that we needed that!'
(6.) I love to break some rules. It makes me feel giddy and happy inside. So - I am breaking the rule to tag someone else. Although I would love to hear 6 strange/weird facts/things about you if you would like.

There. Cleansed. Now - I have to go read about those explosions in Egypt. Damn the terrorists straight to hell.

Oh and P.S. Senator Specter finally responded to me about my blasting him on the immigration issue. I responded with the dire threat to vote any party but Republican over the next few elections if he and his cronies don't take the illegal immigrant/border security issue seriously.

It's a good thing you got tagged already because I was coming after you!

Congrats on hearing back from Specter. Things can get done if we hang in there and keep pushing! Good girl!

Yes Troll - and then I got edumucated and grew up. In reality your interest in history and politics has opened my eyes. You've created a monster it seems!

Thanks CA - yes I am following in your footsteps and contacting those reps and even the pres and v.p. Unfortunately what I have to work with here is Arlen Specter of the one-bullet theory. He's a maniac. Weldon is suitably non-committal. Then there's Santorum and all of my hopes are pinned on him. I'm in a sorry state. But you're right - I will keep telling them.

I shoot "taggers."

When are you going to do your Specter post?

Well *I* don't shoot them, Mike. LOL! Especially I wouldn't shoot Alicenot and ESPECIALLY since I tagged her once before. :-D

My reply to Specter came back to my email as undeliverable so's I had to redo it through his contact form on his official site. It took some time and he annoyed me again just by being so difficult.

Troll thinks I ought to put his email up along with my reply - do you think I ought to?

Thanks Monica for doing that list. You did what I really wanted to do and go no further; however, I did break the rules a bit, I threw out the part that said you have to list more in the author's comment box.

p.s. I, too, hate these "tagging" things.

I did this one awhile back. You sit there and think--how honest should I be :-)??

I love that you have a tattoo. Can I be nosy and ask where you have it? The reason I ask is at age 35 I've decided that I need to have one :-). The problem is my husband is a youth pastor at a fairly conservative church and we're sure some of the women there would flip a lid :-)!!

Put his email reply up along with the rest. It's all a part of trying to deal with and communicate our orders to those who are our servants but would be our masters.
Imagine the backwards double-talk I get from Feinstein and Boxer.

I was reading your comment to Arlen Specterand threatening to vote for anyone but Republicans. Although I've felt the same many times, who else is there? Democrats?

Good stuff - not weird stuff. Although I think my feet take about 2 hours to warm up so you've got me beat! I want to hear more about what Arlis er, I mean Arlen had to say back...

OMG! that is SO freaky!
my feet stay cold, too, and the weirdest thing, i used to OWN a silver Gemeindhart open hole flute and piccolo set. sadly, oh so sadly, when i stopped playing (dammit!), my father resold it. i miss that thing terribly!

*puffs up* i was first chair in 6th grade. yep, i was bad ass. LOL i got a bee in my bonnet several years ago that i wanted to play again...tried a Bflat scale. horrendous. better luck to you!

me likes these little things, i learn all sorts of nifties. ummm...you used to be a lib?! i'm shocked.

No problemo Alicenot - it was fun. It was fun reading your 6 facts, too!

LMC - you mean getting a tattoo might set the church ladies atwitter?! LOL. My tattoo can't be seen when I wear a bikini. Other than that it's a bit hard to describe...

I will do that dirtcrashr - I can't imagine having those reps - although Specter isn't far behind them.

Oh Alison! Let me know. My mother has insisted on buying the flute for me and we are checking everywhere. Email me.

American Crusader - horrifying choice isn't it? I almost vomited voting for Specter. A message has to be sent and if the Republicans don't get on this they are going to lose.

Kate - so sorry about your cold feet. :-( I will post Specter's email and my response tonight.

Alix - twinnie! I was first chair too and I actually won little medals in state competitions and stuff. I had a scrapbook with all of that stuff in it and it is lost along with my photo album. *boo-hoo* I won a 2nd place for 'El Gaucho' that I played to piano accompaniment and shared first place for a trio - forget the song. Anyway - I gave the flute to my niece years ago - who handed it down to someone else. I hawked the piccolo for 50 dollars when I needed money for food many, many years ago. By then I had lost all interest in playing and haven't felt the inclination to play AT ALL until just last week. Weird. Very weird - I think I'm going through the change!! Yes I was a lib - what it turned out to be was that I was very ignorant of pretty much everything political and lots and lots of stuff in history. So, there ya go! Lib. oftentimes just means ignorant of the facts!
