This is the statement issued by Chris Simcox, President of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps.
“President Bush once said he would not wait on events to act to protect our country. He has been president for over five years, and still he has not acted to secure our territorial frontier, even as his administration admits the United States government does not have operational control of our borders.
“On Memorial Day weekend, the American people will exercise their God-given rights to protect their lives and property by initiating construction of fencing along the border on private land unless President Bush immediately deploys National Guard and/or reserve troops along the breadth of the Southwestern border line with Mexico, thereby retaking the region from the international criminal cartels who presently are in operational control of the border. Additional support is available from military units presently training to guard the borders in other countries such as Iraq and Afghanistan and they should immediately relocate their training to the Southwestern border.
“The existing border crisis is a dereliction of duty by those entrusted with American security and sovereignty, leaving America vulnerable to terrorist infiltration and an unprecedented crime wave caused by drug smugglers, rapists, thieves, human traffickers and murderers who currently cross our border at will.
“President Bush and Congress have taxed the wages of the American people to pay for the protection of our country, and expended those dollars to subsidize millions of low-wage illegal workers with housing, education, medical care, and welfare benefits. Yet even the most basic level of national territorial integrity requires that our elected representatives secure the border. Should they continue to refuse to do their Constitutional duty, the Minutemen will again step into the breach and commence building the required border barriers on private land and with private donations.
“Should President Bush and Congress fail to fulfill their oaths of office, and meet their Constitutional obligation to protect these United States from invasion, we, the sovereign people of the United States, having suffered a long train of abuses at the hand of a willfully insolent government, do hereby declare that these States ought, should and will be protected by American Minutemen.”

I heard this on Hanity today. They also stated that they have already been threatened by the government agency that controls water rights, I forget the dept. What i want is for them to carry through with this and then when the Government bulldozers come to tear it down show the footage on the News. The news will show it to make fun of the MM as vigilanties but the result of watching the government tear down a Wall meant to protect us will have just the opposit effect it might just be the visual rallying cry that we need.
It's going to be a very interesting summer.

Dear President Bush:
I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can help with this.
I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here.
So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:
1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
3. All government forms need to be printed in English.
4. I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers.
5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.
7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.
9. I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won't make any effort to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak English.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and don't enforce any labor laws or tax laws.
13. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the economy.
I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that Pres. Fox won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.
However, if he gives you any trouble, just invite him to go quail hunting with your V.P.

David M. Bresnahan’s warm welcoming declaration sounds like the UK greeting to every Johnny foreigner who set foot on these shores! We also have become a nation of contortionists, bending over backwards to appease those who now are setting up shop here. But the Government here ignores those who gave all in the past for freedom! They lock up pensioners here for failing to have a TV license, or failing to meet the rates bill. Yes some Brits are classed as criminals for committing no other crime than being poor! Charity begins at home but those elitist twats who run both our countries are not affected by mundane things, such as fair paid jobs or living on a pittance in old age! But it won’t help the indigenous in both our countries for our leaders to continually ignore the wishes of its people.
There could be an almighty back-lash in both our countries, with more and more people wanting a more nationalist agenda played out in our politics. At the moment here there is no medical checks on anything up to a million people entering this small Island every year! Today’s story in the Daily Express ‘Britain’s TB timebomb’! Immigrants and asylum seekers from disease-rife countries skip our non-existent health checks when they come in here by plane or in the back of a lorry! It is a shame that our respective governments care little to put their own people first! But I came across this photo of an American GI who paid the ultimate sacrifice, He was shot by a German sniper, and within seconds another courageous Yank took his place at the machines gun the first one fell from. At least some of you Americans are pro active to you borders being breached, our ex-communist leaders are idealists who want a world of no borders, and there is no one here to stop them, YET!
Well at least those communists knew how to build walls and fences.

There are many in our New Labour government, who are so-called ex-communists, but in reality they are Champaign Socialists, it is defiantly not a case of what’s good for the gander is good for the goose with this lot.
They want hordes of cheap labour here to the detriment of the indigenous Brits, and having no borders controls suits their purpose. And all the while there is a political paradox with this lack of control on foreigners! Surveillance cameras are springing up like mushrooms here in the UK, to watch our every move. They are on street corners and all over the place and main roads. The only thing George Orwell got wrong was the year. Britain is no longer a free society, and the left wing has instigated this autocratic state!

Sparky that's a terrible story about how they are protesting that mans medal. It is typical of what is being produced by the public ed system and higher education is corrupt as well. These kids have no idea what's what by the time they graduate yet they will argue until they are blue in the face - even in the face of facts that refute their position. It's a shame. I am worried about Britain. There is a camera on every corner but not a policeman to be found - and they will throw you in jail if you have the sense to defend yourselves.

As you all will see when you go up to their site, it will cost $150/foot for the high-tech fence they want to build ON PRIVATE PROPERTY WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE PROPERTY OWNERS.
That's $12.50/inch, which is a great deal less expensive than the government could (if it only would) do it for. I'm going to buy several inches!
Most of you probably heard about the Kelo decision by the Supreme Court, where private property was seized by the government to sell to another private developer because the developer's project would generate more tax for the government.
If the government carries out its threat to destroy privately built fences on private property, you will understand that the entire concept of "private" property is now just a fiction.
By the way, if you want to read something about the attitudes of those who support the dissolution of our national sovereignty via a de-fact "no borders" policy, I have posted something from La Voz de Aztlan over at http://sixthcolumn.blogspot.com (my apologies for not using a link, but that's something I still have to learn how to do!)! The piece is called "Straight From the Horse's Ass" (pardon my language), and here is a MILD paragraph from it:
"With ten days left until May 1st, more and more community leaders, student groups, heads of national organizations and elected government officials are joining the international effort that will paralyze the USA economy. Thank you Cubed. I am beside myself over this border stuff and have been for awhile. Private land owners are being harassed by the federal government for attempting to protect their land. Are we just pretending that we have rights? What the hell happened?
Troll and I hope to fund a few inches of the fence as well.
God only knows where all of this is going to lead.
