Somewhere In Lancaster County, PA

Me --- trying to smile after shoveling. Next major purchase? A snow blower...

The car is buried:

The flag took a beating and will have to be given to the Boy Scouts to be disposed of properly:

The girls with the ice-encased rose bush:

The 'car cubby' - which I shoveled out the old fashioned way. OUCH!

Jeff refuses to buy a snowblower.. He says there is one more thing to have to take care of... Just like the lawn mower.. So we are shoveling our selves out..

Got 16 inches here in NY last week and some more coming tonight or tomorrow, at least you can get a workout with the shoveling.

LOL - thanks Tweetey.

The girls did have a good time. Except the one time that we went sledding - we had to slog through snow up to our butts to get to the place. We were totally exhausted by the time we were done..

OK, now..-Begin spelling: B-A-N-D-A-N-A:: a large often colorfully patterned handkerchief...(which covers the head:-keeps snow off of head)

Now try this one: H-A-T..: a covering for the head usually having a shaped crown and brim...(same as above)

Now, that was really good! Next week we'll work on 'hand coverings.''chuckle'
