Fred Thompson

Okay - one more, little, itsy-bitsy entry before I hibernate. Thanks to Gayle at My Republican Blog.

What always confuses me about this time of politics is that what they say when they are trying to get voted in by the public and what they do after they get in are some what different.. Or seems to be I should say. Oh Happy New Year to you guys also.

I agree, Troll. I haven't seen much about him in the MSM. He's been all over Iowa..

Tweetey - I think most politicians say whatever will get them elected. The nice thing about Fred is that his record supports what he's saying now. All of the rest - including Giuliani - are saying things contrary to what they've said or done before. Happy New Year to you and your family, Tweetey!

I wish Fred would step it up more, but this is a good look. BTW, the very best for you and yours in 2008 Grizzly Mama!

Thank you Mr. Grey Ghost! I guess Fred just isn't getting the the interest from the 'MSM'. Wonder if he ought to do something wild and crazy??

*spits up coffee all over the monitor*

Please....no. I admit, Thompson kind of lulls me to sleep; but the image of him doing something "wild and crazy"....no, he's too dignified!!!

He IS dignified, isn't he? That's one thing that I like about him. He needs to get some attention, though...

Thanks for posting this video, hon, and even though the MSM was counting Fred out, he came in third last night in the Iowa caucus. Way to go, Fred! :)

Yes, the fact that Fred's record proves he believes in what he says and isn't simply mouthing platitudes he thinks we want to hear, is exactly the reason I like him the best. Also, he isn't trying to please the MSM, in fact I believe he doesn't like the MSM any more than they like him, so it's up to his supporters to give him the publicity he needs. Again, thanks for posting the video!

Blessings!

Thanks again, Gayle. I agree that him coming in 3rd was pretty amazing - I didn't expect it. I also didn't expect Ron Paul to go double digits, either. Here we go! Speeding into election year! We had better buckle up.

Hi Monica,

Can you drop me an email, using your most recent email address, when you get a chance? I've changed computers and can't locate the mail you sent me back in December. I have a suggestion for you, and Troll.

Another endorsement:

Human Events

I may have to come out of the closet, soon. I have been so hesitant this election...I don't know why. I've like Fred from the beginning, but I haven't had time to finish looking at everything.

So far, he keeps coming out at the top of the list, however. Everyone else just has to realize that so that it is even relevant by the time the primaries get here...in May!
