We heard about this through the United American Committee. Apparently CAIR is sponsoring the meeting - and we've all read up on CAIR, haven't we? If not - please see my link to Daniel Pipes over on the sidebar and get reading.

Please ask them how they intend to challenge these guys on THIS controversy. Or maybe its best not to give them the idea. I dont know. There is a rally here in London tomorrow and me and alex plan on going along to make our feelings known.

Is Rachel Lawton the woman who's responsible for all the Muslim content in textbooks?

Griz,

Enjoy, learn, and then teach the rest of us about what you learn, and BE CAREFUL! Those audiences can get positively RUDE!

I am so tickled about what I'm beginning to see, and that is the first signs of "activism." We're beginning to think of things to do in addition to our spreading the word about Islam through our sites and blogs.

Grizzly and Troll going to a CAIR meeting, a guy in Silicon Valley is working on a chart illustrating the level of "whitewashing" of Islam in our kids' school texts, Always On Watch is spreading around business-sized cards with information (site addresses, quotes, etc.) on them, cartoons are being widely published without regard to PC--bit by bit, we're getting out of our seats. Yea!

Folks, don't forget to let your Reps. and Senators know what you think of contracting out the port management to Muslims; someone on TV yesterday suggested that if there are enough objections, Dubai might back out of the contract, and Colonel Hunt said that there are American companies who can do the job.

First the borders, and now the ports! What is he THINKING? I message the White House every day with a "NO." I guess Grover Norquist has his ear more than we do, but it's worth a try.

BTW, if you want to let Dubai Ports International what you think, you can get in touch with them at: www.dpiterminals.com.

Alison - we will try to get a few words in edgewise. LOL! Can hardly wait to see how your experience at the rally in London went. Blogger was really acting up yesterday and I could barely get anyone's blog up.

Tshsmom - Susan Douglass is the lady partly responsible for corrupting the textbooks - I think that is her name.

Thanks Cubed. It is important that all of us stand up ASAP. I wrote my reps about the port thing and I will write the Pres. about it too. (He already knows how upset I am about the borders! ;))

They had their march today in London, No death to the infidel placards this time around they were trying to show the peaceful side of Islam!
But one of those interviewed said the west should not upset 1.2 billion believers!!! My advice to America don’t let any more of the buggers in they consider themselves at war with the west.

Sparky - you are right. I will be putting an entry up about our experience with the 'diverse' group of muslims in Philly.

I have to add that the Imam on the panel brought up the over 1 billion muslims a couple of times. Looks like a new 'talking point'.
