Happy Thanksgiving

This year I am deep frying the big bird turkey. I've never tried it before, I usually smoke the turkey out on the Weber Grill. If I get any pics - I'll post them. We are having the in-laws over.

I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!

I am finally able to comment, as I have been very busy. Hope you had a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.

I hope you didn't burn the house down.

I know five different folks in my area who did just that when frying their Turkey. I think they forgot to defrost it first.

Thanks Rev!

OMG - terrible about your friends! My turkey was so defrosted, it's not funny. The directions even say to soak the turkey in warm water to get rid of any ice crystals that my be lurking in the cavities.

The deep fry went very well. So easy and SOOOO good! The tenderist, ,most juicy turkey I've ever eaten!

I hope that you're enjoying the leftovers.

Thanks Mr. GG - and right back at you. Our leftovers lasted about 4 days this year. I love the leftovers more than the original meal. Mmmmmm - turkey sandwiches...
