We Have to Move Again
Good thing I didn't completely unpack.
We are aiming for mid-January, but have until end of February. I really hate moving. The 85 acres that this house sits on is going to be developed, though. It was a good old house, but not one I felt that I could really dig in and get comfortable with.
We are on a house search now.

Well, bless you, Grizzly Mama!
I wish you luck in finding a place that you can call home. At least you don't have to be uprooted until after the Christmas Holiday.
God bless all.
Ouch that hurts the pocket. Good luck with the search. Hope it goes well. I hate moving also and that is why I am so glad we have the house we have... It may not be much but its ours to live in. I dont have to answer to anyone but me....
Thank you, Donald. I need all the help that I can get from above right now! ;-)
Father, thanks. We looked at a beautiful house last week that is surrounded by cow pastures. I'm nervous about moving, and the landlord here wanted to put us in a house December 15th - nice one, too! But there is just no way on earth that I would be able to move before the holidays.
Tweetey - it does hurt! It comes at a bad time, too. But - we just have to deal with it as best as we can.
Bad news! But at least you have a new pickup to haul your things!
Did you get a rebate?'yuk'
What a bummer!!
Winter moving is the PITS!
Good luck finding just the right house. (((HUGS)))
Isn't she a beaut, JC?? LOL. It is a bummer and comes at the most difficult time for us in many ways. We just have to get on with it, though.
Tshsmom - for a person who despises moving I sure have been doing a lot of it. One good thing about it is that it is a chance to force Troll to get rid of quite a bit of his pack-rat stuff. You would not believe the crap we got rid of last move, and I plan to repeat the maneuver this move. The other good thing is that I haven't seen one crack-head since we moved away from Philly! ;-)
Winter vs. summer: I'd much rather move now. Good luck with the move!
Really, Mr GG? I guess the heat of summer IS a total drag to deal with. One time when I moved, we got such a bad blizzard on moving day that the moving truck couldn't come and I was stuck in an apartment with everything packed up in boxes - bed broken down and everything - for 2 days until the roads were cleared. Then - the movers had to drag my furniture up over snow drifts and stuff at the new apartment...
Sorry to hear that, moving is a big PIA!
