Happy 4th of July!
Troll and I actually have a day off TOGETHER. We will be partaking in a host of activities with the girls. We have traveled back in time. Life is simpler and a bit more wholesome here in the land of cornfields, horse-pulled carriages, and Harley-Davidsons. Less complicated. It's all about growing food, working hard, families taking care of each other, and helping your neighbor. Drying the clothes out on the line, wading in the creek, and running across the grass barefoot.

Happy Independence Day!
For the first July 4th in 36 years, Mr. AOW and I won't be taking in fireworks or having a cookout at our house. Instead, he's pulling bar duty at our local VFW. So I'll be at that VFW post with veterans, a few from WWII.

It's a great day for all Americans. Whether we were born here or came here legally we can all celebrate the freedom and greatness that makes this country the BEST!
