Aesops Fable Friday.
The Wolf and the Lion
A Wolf stole a lamb fromthe flock, and was carrying it off to devour it at his leisure when he met a Lion, who took his prey away from him and walked off with it.
The Wolf dared not resist, but when the Lion had gone some distance he said, "It is most unjust of you to take what's mine away from me like that."
The Lion laughed and called out in reply, "It was justly yours, no doubt! The gift of a friend, perhaps?"
Moral of the story: Those who live by thievery can't complain of robbers.

Good one. Makes me think about Hezbollah screaming about the deaths of civilians in Lebanon.
Yes - the terrorists are whining that the Israelis are acting like terrorists.
I'm soooo sick of the press whining about being censored for broadcasting where the missles are hitting!!! IDIOTS!!!
I am sick to death of the coverage. As far as I am concerned Israel is justified in defending itself - and all those 'civilians' who are dying in Lebanon are Hezbollah.
CNN is especially disgraceful in it's coverage.

An interesting quote.
Monicar,
are you aware that in 1982 the Israeli Supreme Court stated that the kidnapping and holding of lebanese civilians without charge to be used as hostages/bargaining chips is legal?
Sure brings the above moral into focus doesn't it?
I'm behind Israel 150%, Digital Spy. I'm not sure if what you say is true or not - but I'm not inclined to believe your interpretation right off the bat. I'm not sure what you mean by your comment but it seems to fit the moral quite well, actually.
The terrorists kidnap Israelis, kill them, use them for bargaining chips and then complain of Israel behavior? My focus is completely what it was before your comment.
As most people are becoming aware the IDF was attemting to infiltrate a Lebanese village when they were attacked.
Are you a christian by any chance?
I was not aware of that at all. Do you believe that the IDF arranged for the hezbooha missile barrage and were in cahoots JUST SO Israel could go in an attack Lebanon?
I can't easily define my spiritual beliefs, DS. I mean, c'mon. The spirit of my dead cat visited our family in our sleep. Would a proper Christian believe that?!
A proper christian? Now that's an oxymoron.

I can't deal with common dreams, DS. The 'progressive community' is completely whacked in my opinion. Every time anyone tries to use commondreams as a source for anything I know they are putting forth something crazy.
There are many proper Christians, DS. Don't you like Christians? What happened - did you have a run in with a Christian? What did they do to you? I'm dying to know.
..and this story explains our entire tax system and the redistro of wealth the Dems love ever so much to foist on the public!
