One of our boys needs us!

Please hop on over to Blackfive and leave a message of support for a young man who lost both of his legs in Iraq. Blackfive is going to deliver supportive comments to Specialist James Donaldson on Saturday.

This soldier's legs were blown off by an IED that exploded while he was driving a guntruck in Iraq. He also lost his right index finger and needs surgery on his thumb. He arrived back in the States this last week and could use some encouragement. If you are able, a fund has been set up for him and the details are in the link. If you don't have the cash...please leave a nice comment.

He did his duty and with honor. You will see after reading the article about him that he has kept his sense of humor, high spirits, and optimism. His family is so happy to have him home alive. I know that my loyal readers are supportive of our military and appreciative for what this man gave for our country, for the Iraqi, for our hopes for the future. A future without beheading, insane, Islamist jihadi bastards.

Thank you Specialist James Donaldson.

Thank you Blackfive.

Thank you Renee - whoever you are - the little bird who told me about this.

Monica: Thanks for sharing that. I don't take enough opportunities to offer thanks and support to the people who do so much to make this world a better place.

These young people doing this awful work are truly remarkable. Real heroes!
